See the city like a local by electric bicycle

We take you on an e-bike using the city bike share program so you really can get around like a local. These are comfortable and give you an extra zip. Plus we can park them anywhere along the way and do part of the tour on foot. We can even show you how to sign yourself up if you want to keep seeing the city by bike after you learn how to navigate the city comfortably with your guide. 

Discover Ueno park and the markets

We start with a visit to Ueno park where we can see beautiful nature plus lots of historically significant places of interest. It's also a great way to get orientated on the bikes with the safe pathways. After that we take you to see the old market area of Ueno Station called "Ameyoko". This is a great place to get a feel for old Tokyo and still see lots of locals buying and selling goods and enjoying the fun atmosphere of the place. 

See the History & Culture

The next stop is the area known as Asakusa. This is the real old town of Tokyo and there are beautiful temples, fun shopping streets and lots of great food! We can explain a bit more about the culture of Buddhism and it's place in Japan's identity. We can also stop for a delicious lunch here with lots of tasty options to choose from.

Ride along the Sumida River

This is a pleasant ride to enjoy after a nice lunch with the wind in our hair and beautiful views of the Tokyo skyline as we wheel along the river side. We can enjoy making our way to our next two stops, sumo town and nerd town!

See the sumo district

Explore the sumo district of Tokyo and maybe even see some of the wrestlers coming to and from practice. We make a little stop at the sumo museum and enjoy learning more about this traditional sport of Japan.

Visit Akihabara, a nerd's paradise

We conclude the tour in a place that you can only see in Tokyo, the Akihabara Electric town. There are literally hundreds of shops selling everything from hard drives, computer components to anime figurines. Plus this is where the famous "maid cafes" and other quirky places started. We give you insights to this modern side of the uniqueness of the local culture.
